Ingredient
1 lb. chicken breast or tenders, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp. water
1 egg
Canola oil, to fry
6 Tbsp popcorn seasoning of choice, divided:
- Frosted Cinnamon Bun Popcorn
- Spicy & Creamy Cheese Popcorn
- Garlic Dill Pickle Popcorn
- Peri Peri Fire Popcorn
- Onion Dorito Mexicana Popcorn

Make dredge: In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, and 4 Tbsp popcorn seasoning of choice. Add water and mix until mixture is the consistency of damp sand. Set it aside.

Dredge chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk egg. Drop pieces of chicken into egg and toss to coat. Transfer chicken to flour mixture and toss to coat, ensuring all edges of chicken are coated in flour mixture.

Fry chicken: In a Dutch oven, on medium to high temp, heat 2 inches of oil. Carefully drop a few pieces of chicken at a time into oil and fry for 3 to 4 min. until pieces are golden brown and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Continue frying in batches, adjusting heat to ensure oil stays between 350 & 370 F/180 & 190C.

Finish and serve: Immediately after removing chicken from fryer, sprinkle with remaining popcorn seasoning of choice. Serve hot. Enjoy! ❤️
