After that, our spices won't really have gone off, they just won't be as aromatic anymore. They smell and taste better when they're at their freshest. 🌿
With some spices however, unfortunately nature puts a spanner in the works:
Spices that contain vanilla, chick peas or almonds all have a shelf life less than a year. The year includes harvesting, delivery, processing and storage, shortening the best before date of these spices and mixes to just a few months.
Important: Always close your spice containers carefully to ensure the aromas don't escape.
What is the best way to store my spices?
Our Airtight glass jars are the ideal storage containers for spices. It is best to store spices away from heat and light, making a drawer or cabinet your best options. We do recommend storing certain products, like Tomato Powder, in the refrigerator to extend the shelf life.

Why isn't my spice bottle look filled to the very top?
Great question. The short answer: fill weight.
Great question. The short answer: fill weight.
Now here’s the long(er) answer: our spices and blends are ground fresh, packed fresh and filled according to weight by precise mechanism. Some ingredients weigh more than others; for example a tomato powder typically weighs more than onion flakes and each would take up a different amount of space in the bottle. We guarantee each bottle contains the correct weight stated on the label.
Also, fill weights can vary due to the density and moisture content of each blend, which can cause some products to appear less “full” in the bottle than others. Your spices may have settled during shipping, and we recommend giving the bottles a good shake when you first receive them to bring the ingredients back to their original fill level.

Just Honey® FAQ
Is your honey 100% natural and organic?
Our honey is 100% natural and raw. No chemicals used, no liquid-sugar used to feed the bees during the Sidr season. Best strict traditional beekeeping methods are practiced. And yes it is organic, but due to lack of organizations in Yemen that can generate an organic certification, we don’t label it as such.
What State Or Region Does Domestic Raw Honey Come From?
Nowhere but Hadramout region in Yemen. However, this region produces the rarest and exotic honey over the world.
Manuka Honey VS Sidr Honey?
Manuka honey is a great honey that helps the body in many ways. Just like our Sidr honey. Some reports claim that Sidr honey might be about 10% better in terms of effectiveness. (Webmed)

Both are monofloral honeys, however their origin differs. The soil differs, the plants from which nectar is derived are different and ultimately the properties of each honey differ.
Sidr honey is a thick, luxurious, smooth delicious, golden-amber coloured honey, while manuka is a thinner grainy (or heated to a smooth creamy texture) honey and comes in various colours depending on its origin.
Our sidr has a consistently high TA rating (e.g 43.3 - 58.2) which is extraordinary. If it was compared to mauka our honey should be sold at double its price (at least).
Why has my honey crystallised?
Most raw, unheated honey will crystallise after some time. It doesn’t mean it’s spoiled or that it has lost its healing prosperities. It is still as nutritious and sweet as ever! In fact, the crystals prove that your honey is high quality and hasn’t been processed. It means that nutritious pollen hasn’t been filtered out and important enzymes haven’t been damaged by pasteurisation.

During colder winter months, the honey in your cabinet might begin to crystallise because of the lower temperatures. But for those of you who like to keep your honey slippery smooth, fill a bowl with warm water and let your bottle rest until the crystals dissipate. Be sure not to microwave your honey because the heat will destroy many of your favourite enzymes and vitamins!
Does the Sidr honey expire?
Just like any raw honey, if Sidr Honey is properly stored, it can stay in good and safe condition for eternity! Proper storing practices have an essential part of the shelf life of any honey. We recommend storing your honey in cool places and away from direct light. For practical purposes, we give our honey a shelf life of two years.
How do I store my honey?
Honey is best stored in an airtight container. It should be left in room temperature away from direct sunlight.
