This classic recipe is made using our Southern style "Southern Fried Chicken Mix" and this make it the easiest. Crispy and juicy, it's sure to be a family favorite.
This crispy, finger-licking chicken can be served with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, creamed corn, and potato salad.
Ingredient
3 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/4 cup plain flour
2 eggs beaten with a tablespoon of water
1-2 Tbsp. Southern Fried Chicken Mix
canola oil for frying
Instruction

Heat Canola oil on medium heat.

Cut each breast in half, removing the center fat and tenderize, pounding to about 1/2" thick.

Dredge breast in flour, pressing down on each side, covering lightly and completely.

Place floured breast into the eggwash, and flip. Sprinkle Southern Fried Chicken Mix generously on egged side of the breast. Flip again and apply Southern Fried Chicken Mix to the other side.

Dredge eggwashed and seasoned breast in breadcrumbs, pressing down on both sides to completely cover.

Place breast into hot canola oil. The breast should be about 3/4 submerged. After about 5 minutes, flip and cook an additional 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Cut breast open at the thickest point to check doneness.
Remove and place on a plate with paper towel. Allow to sit for 2-3 minutes. Enjoy! ❤️
